Liquid Product Destruction process removes liquid from brand owners’ containers and recycles the packaging materials including cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, plastic, and other materials. Typically, the empty container is baled into its specific grade of material and shipped to end markets where new packaging or products are made.
The liquid that is extracted is transported to local end markets that include agricultural biodigestors. The liquids are added to manure and other agricultural liquids and converted to energy that is returned into the electrical grid. The local biodigesters are an excellent example of a closed loop process and is an excellent demonstration of a circular economy flow in the Lower Mainland.
